How to reach Blagoevgrad from Sofia

IMC will arrange airport transfers on 1st August 2022 for the participants

Several companies provide bus transport services from Sofia to Blagoevgrad. Buses to Blagoevgrad leave the Central Bus Station in Sofia. There are at least 25 scheduled buses per day at intervals of 15 to 30 minutes before noon and 45 to 60 minutes in the afternoon.

Tickets are available at the counters within the Bus Station hall.

The travel distance is approximately 100 km. The travel time is 90 to 120 minutes depending on traffic jams.

Sofia Bus and Railway Central Stations

The Sofia Bus and Railway Central Station are located near the city center. (See the Sofia map link below). The stations are located next to each other.
